Resilience is the ability to adapt to difficult situations. When stress, adversity or trauma strikes, you still experience anger, grief and pain, but you're able to keep functioning — both physically and psychologically.

What are the 5 C's of resilience?

Resilience is comprised of these five elements: community, compassion, confidence, commitment, and centering.

What is anxiety?

Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe. and affect you in lots of different ways - physically and mentally.

Symptoms can vary from person to person but can include: restlessness, feeling sick, heart palpitations and difficulty concentrating and sleeping. Sometimes with anxiety, it may feel like your thoughts are taking over but it is important to remember that thoughts are not fact. However, in the moment it can be hard to believe this. Watch the video below explaining why you are not your thoughts.
